Karma Dahlias


This outstanding series of dahlias have been especially bred for cutting. The bright and vibrant blooms appear on strong stems and have a long vase life. Honka Dahlia Surprise


This charming single flowered dahlia is perfect for pots and front of border. The unique, eight pointed star-like flowers are borne in abundance over green foliage and are perfect for cutflowers as well as garden decoration. Nerine bowdenii


With shocking pink flower heads made up of a cluster of delicate, trumpet-shaped flowers which curl at the edges, elegant Nerine bowdenii provides a blaze of bright colour amongst the classic red, yellow and browns of autumn. Fully hardy and easy to grow, these lily-like plants originate in South Africa and like to be in a free draining soil where they can bake in the sun.

Lily 'Landini'


This new dark maroon lily is one of the most spectacular we have found. It is so dark, it’s almost black and makes a spectacular show in the garden. The unusual flowers are borne 4-6 per stem at a height of 90cms. An excellent cupflower it also makes a huge statement in border schemes!

Phlox Sherbert Blend


This superb perennial phlox is aptly named and will bring an exciting mix of colour to the borders. Yellow-green buds upon chocolate-maroon bracts give way to a mass of flowers in a blend of pink, white and yellow. This dazzling phlox is a real chameleon.

The fragrant, long-lasting blooms easy to grow, rewarding the minimum effort with showy blooms over a long season from summer through to mid-autumn. Low-growing with an approx. height of just 70cm they are ideal for the front of a sunny border or in the partial shade of shrubs or trees.

Helenium 'Waldtraut'


'Waldtraut' has glorious yellow daisy flowers with copper orange and dark centres on tall stiff stems which are ideal for cutting. It is an upright, sturdy perennial bearing flowerheads 5-8cm across adding splashes of hot, fiery late summer and autumn colour to your garden. They are a vigorous and indispensable old favourite which are similar to sunflowers.

At up to 90cm (3ft) high they make a glorious display just when the borders are beginning to fade. They are fully hardy and thrive in moist, well-drained soil in full sun or part shade.

Witch Hazel provides some much need dazzle to the sleepy winter garden. The enchanting sulphur-yellow, spider-like blooms which show through the autumn and winter months are accompanied by a rich and alluring scent. This attractive variety, Hamamelis virginiana (the Virginian Witch Hazel) is native to North America where its healing properties –from which it takes it common name- have long been recognised.

Chimonanthus praecox


The aptly-named Wintersweet has small, pendent, waxy blooms of yellow which almost drip from the bare woody stems. Whole flowering stems can be cut for indoor decoration and perfume. Chimonanthus is fully hardy, but does best close to a warm, sheltered wall. Height: 2.4m (8ft).

Sarcococca hookeriana var. humilis


Also known as Christmas or sweet box, this compact shrub produces its small white flowers (tinged pink) - which look almost like exploding fireworks - from December through to February. Set against attractive, evergreen foliage, the blooms have a strong, honey-like fragrance and are followed by shiny, black berries which persist for several months. Height: 60cm (24in).

Bilberry


Native to British shores and growing wild on heaths, moors and highlands, bilberries are closely related to blueberries. The bilberry, a low-growing shrub rarely over a foot high, makes a decorative addition to the garden, blossoming with pink urn-shaped flowers in the spring while its leaves taking on a red hue in the autumn. The dark blue fruits have a red flesh and can be eaten fresh or made into pie-filling or preserves.

Bilberries are fully hardy, and prefer an acidic soil. They even make attractive container plants.

Kiwi 'Arguta'

Agapanthus Collection


Since their introduction into Europe from South Africa in the seventeenth century, Agapanthus have continued to charm gardeners with their rounded, characteristic flowerheads made up of masses of tubular, bell-shaped flowers upon strong stems above strap-shaped leaves. It will not surprise many to hear that the translation of their name, originally derived from Greek, means love (agape) flower (anthos).

We’ve selected three stunning varieties for you to choose from:
  • Agapanthus Enigma – the beautiful bicolour blooms of this variety - white with a blue base - make it superb feature. Evergreen foliage and compact height make it ideal for patio containers. Height: 70cm.
